Our Commitment to Your Privacy

At NumaThrive, we believe your biological data is your most private asset. We have designed our scanning and reporting process to meet or exceed both U.S. HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) standards and EU GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) requirements.

How Your Data is Protected

  • Encrypted EU Cloud Storage: Your scan data is stored in the European Union by industry-leading providers utilizing 256-bit encryption. This infrastructure meets all GDPR requirements for the protection of patient data.

  • Anonymized Profiling: To provide an extra layer of security, we offer “Identity Shielding.” We can process your scan using a unique ID or partial name, ensuring your full legal identity is never stored in the cloud.

  • Access Control: Access to your historical data is strictly limited to you and your dedicated NumaThrive consultant for the sole purpose of tracking your detoxification progress.

Important Notice Regarding Email Delivery

To provide you with your digital report, we send results via PDF to your provided email address.

Please Note: While our internal systems are secure, standard email is not an inherently encrypted communication medium. By requesting your results via email, you acknowledge and accept the potential privacy risks associated with unencrypted electronic transmission. You may always opt for an “In-Person Only” paper report to avoid electronic transmission.

Your Rights Under HIPAA

As of March 2026, you have the following rights regarding your health information:

  1. Right to Access: You may request a digital or physical copy of your scan results at any time. We will provide these within 15 days of your request.

  2. Right to Restriction: You may ask us not to share your information with specific individuals or entities. (Note: We do not share data with 3rd parties or insurance companies as a standard practice).

  3. Notice of Redisclosure: Once a report is printed or emailed to you, it is no longer under the technical protection of NumaThrive. If you share your report with others, it may no longer be protected by federal privacy laws.
